All three of our "inventory reduction" COCKATIEL BREEDER pairs described below have been here in our closed-aviary for at least one year, all are seemingly in very good health & feather condition, to the best of my knowledge all are aged between 2 1/2 or so and 3 years, and all are very compatible and well-bonded in their respective pairings.
Specifically:
1. This Pair I identifid here as Cockatiel Pair #2/41 is PROVEN for babies
"production". Their first clutch this season is just about ready for
handfeeding, so perhaps a second 2008 clutch might well emerge within the next few weeks or so. You will see from their angrily-spread feathers in the pics that they both resented being photographed at this time! The male is the whitefaced bird light-grey (white) pied, and the female is the normal yellow-plumed dark-grey (yellow) pied. Pics. I/d #2/41male and 2/41female respectively.
PROVEN BREEDER PAIR PRICED AT $135.

Item # 010 - Bonded Pair of DNA'd Cockatiels
This DNA'd Pair is currently identified as Cockatiel Pair #2/5 (Pics. tiel1a & tiel 1b). This is a WELL-BONDED as yet unproven pair.Remarks under the above Item #009 pair re age, condition, closed-aviary situation, etc. also generally apply to this pair. The DNA'd male is the yellow-faced dark-grey pied bird and the DNA'd female is the normal "cinnamon" pied.
Item # 011 - Bonded Pair of DNA'd Cockatiels
This Cockatiel Pair is identified here at FPA as #1/33C (Pics. tiel2a & 2b). Again, this is a very WELL-BONDED pair - also the above remarks re Pair #s oo9 & 010 likewise apply. The DNA'd male is the normal dark grey pied bird and the female (has laid a couple or so eggs already) is the white-faced, light grey/fawn pearl bird.
Again, I firmly believe that all these above six cockatiels have not yet reached 3 years and all have been managed by myself here in our closed-aviary situation for at least one year with absolutely no health/condition issues arising at any time as far as I am aware.
